Mission
It is our mission to enhance the quality of life of physically challenged individuals living with disability by facilitating specialized training and proper placement of assistance dogs to such individuals with special needs, without adding financial burden to those using our program. We believe that canine-human partnership empower people to fully participate in social, educational, and occupational opportunities.
Our objectives for year 2013 are:
1. Increase the number of training programs for assistance dogs supplied to the community with "professions" such as2. Find funding possibilities to support assistance dogs training programs by engaging individuals or organizations willing to donate or become a sponsor.
3. Educate the public about assistance dogs and raise awareness and understanding of their capabilities and the benefits they provide.
4. Promote welcomed environment for individuals with assistance dogs, increase accessibility of human-canine teams to public places (trade centers, shops, drugstores, cultural events, workplaces).
5. Develop and implement modern methods and standards in all areas related to the selection and training of assistance dogs. Implement professional certification program for assistance dogs and assistance dog’s handlers.
